My career in catering started as a waitress in a local restaurant close to my village home. I'd have to say I was addicted to the catering industry from the word go. Working alongside people from diverse backgrounds and meeting with new people everyday suited me and I never looked back.
Spending my late teens and early twenties working abroad in the south of Spain and later The Canary Islands, I returned to the UK in 2003 settling in Taunton, Somerset.

My first major challenge was to accept the post of Catering Manager at Hestercombe Gardens in Somerset. This was a step into a new domain, as until then my career had been hotel based for the most part, working in every department possible and learning my trade from the ground up. During my time at Hestercombe, I had the pleasure of being in truly breathtaking and unique surroundings whilst working hard to make it the best venue for weddings and conferences in the area.

From there, I moved to The Cleve Hotel in Wellington as Weddings and Events Co-ordinator. My tendency for perfection and an eye for even the smallest details meant I really found my niche. I remained at The Cleve until 2008 when I left to have my son. To date I have planned approximately 400 weddings and events of every size and theme imaginable. 

I am lucky to have gained a wealth of experience in an industry which is innovative and challenging. I have enjoyed every step along the way and look forward to moving my career ever forward and making more couples dreams come true.
